Known as the “Food Oscars”, the Times Food Award was organized at Le Meridien on 10th December at Jaipur. The first awards function also coincided with the launch of Times Food Guide. This comprehensive food guide is well compiled and written by famous food writer Dharamendra Kanwar.
TV and movies star who mistook the handy food guide with a chocolate bar , Aman Verma, launched the food guide. The event had all the who’s who of jaipur as guests.
The awards were given by leading personalities such as Aakash Chopra, Asha Pande, Col Garcha etc
The host of the show kept the guests in good spirits with his internet jokes and spontaneity.
Although all the stalwarts of Jaipur food industry were awarded, it was good to see some new entrants such as Marriott and Mocha getting recognized.
The best part was the food counters of all these award winners offering huge culinary choices to the guest.
