Sounds like a scene from the era bygone- a 1938 Cadillac convertible, passes through the scenic beauty of the Aravallis, on Sunday morning with its’ signature charm of exclusivity. That’s the aura the Cadillac, and other such classics created at the 14th Vintage and Classic Car Rally, whilst on their way to Kanota palace.
Nearly 45 cars out of 100, managed to reach the destination, after being flagged off from Hotel Jai Mahal Palace by Princess Diya Kumari.
The prize giving ceremony was a nerve wrecking experience for the judges as it was extremely difficult to choose from all the magical machines oozing sheer class and elegance !
In the classics’ category- the 1951 Rolls Royce of the Khimsar royal family won the concours d’ elegance award, while the most original car title was bagged by the 1963 Fiat 600 belonging to Abdul Rahman Abbasi.
