After her husband’s death, Manju took over his job as a coolie and is Rajasthan’s first proud women coolie. A mother to three earns for her family by working from 5pm to 9 pm at the Jaipur Railway Station. With the support of her male counterparts she is now a strong woman earning for her and her kids livelihood.

With the women taking on the wheels, Jaipur has a group of lady cab drivers – Sakha, who have been trained as cab drivers and chauffer services by the initiative of Azad Foundation. The women from poor background have come up strongly despite of their families concern to get independent and stand on their feet.
