9 Events in Jaipur not to be missed this September

Every month brings with itself a new sense of excitement. You look forward for spending the month in the most happening ways but you are not always aware of the events happening around you. So we thought we’ll help you out. Below is a list of 9 fun filled events in Jaipur that you probably shouldn’t miss. Have a look!

1. “Fashion Closet” The Designer Pop Up Show
Prepare yourself for fun interactive sessions with 10 selected Lakme Fashion Week designers and some very reputed fashion brands. Get to know what cuts and designs suit your personality and maybe that’ll completely change the way you dress. 2. INDO PAK Lifestyle & Home Decor Exhibition
Be a part of Indo Pak lifestyle and home décor exhibition at World Trade Park from 1st to 4th of Sept, 11 AM onwards.  The exhibited products are a blend of both countries, India as well as Pakistan. Among the exhibited products, there’ll be handicrafts, jewelry, furniture, textile and many other items that depict the culture of both the nations. So don’t forget to attend this unique exhibition where you’ll get the taste of both the nation’s lifestyle at one place.

3. Komedy Korner Open Mic #4
Limeshots is back with its 4th edition of Komedy Korner. With stand up acts funnier than ever, Komedy Korner is all set to make you roll on the floor laughing at a mere charge of Rs 100. So mark the date 2nd Sept. on your calendar and don’t forget to be there at The Urban Hub at 7 PM.

4. Travelling Trunk: Made in Bengal
For the first time in Jaipur, fashion designers from Bengal will come forth and showcase their designs depicting the diverse Bengali culture. It’s an initiative by ‘Stylegraph by Chikkygoenkaofficial’ to expose Jaipurites to the style and craftsmanship of Bengal. Join them at Anantaya Decor on 2nd and 3rd Sept, 10 AM onwards in their unique travel trunk show where you’ll find a completely Bengali setup.

5. Run India – Jaipur
Jaipur Runner’s Club invites you to run with Samantha Gash, an Australian runner who began her journey on 22nd August, to run nearly 4000 km across India and identify the barriers to quality education for children. She’ll reach Jaipur on 3rd Sept for a 30 km ( 21 km +5 km + 4km ) run. Join her at Hotel Fern at 4 AM and support her in her cause. Participants will also be awarded with a certificate after the completion of marathon.

6. Humorously Yours
Youtubers Biswa (Pretentious Movie Reviews) and Zakir Khan (man behind the youtube channel *Zakir Khan*) are coming to Jaipur to entertain you with their show “Humorously Yours” at Manipal University on Sunday, Sept 4th. Book your seats now and don’t miss out on this one.

7.  Aamelia Fashion & Lifestyle Exhibition
Get ready to spend your day with some of the most exclusive designers of the country. For the first time in Jaipur, Aamelia, a budding exhibitor, is hosting a fashion and lifestyle exhibition at SMS Convention Center, Rambagh on the 6th of September, starting at 10 AM till 8:30 PMDon’t miss this opportunity and join them to know all about the latest styles and trends.

8. Jaipur by Nite
Jaipur by Nite” is a two day carnival to celebrate the rich heritage, culture and unique art forms of the state of Rajasthan. On 16th Sept, 5 PM onwards, is the cultural night at Jaigarh Fort where famous bands like Euphoria and many other Rajasthani Troupes will be performing. There’ll be more fun filled events such as puppet show, magic show, live paintings etc for you to enjoy. On the night of 17th, it’s the marathon that’ll take place, starting from Hotel Clarks Amer. 9. Jaipur Cycle Marathon
Jaipur Cycle Marathon 2016 is here with its 6th Edition to be held on 25th of Sept, starting from Albert Hall Museum at 5 AM. It’s an initiative to increase awareness about the need to change our lifestyle and to create a pollution free environment. By Cycling, you’re not only contributing towards a pollution free environment, but it’ll also help you stay fit as it’s a very effective cardio exercise. So don’t wait for the change and start working towards it. Lets help create the environment we all want to live in.
