Ek Taara has showcased its unique collections at various national level exhibitions in Mumbai, Pune, Goa, Chennai, Hyderabad and Jaipur along with being a proud participant at a Pop-up event in New York City! Keeping sustainability and minimal wastage at its heart, the brand has started a new upscale project to convert the leftover fabrics into cool and chic clutches and purses for the younger generation.
The brand’s ‘Heart to Haat’ designing mission thrives on creating garments and accessories for the young and contemporary women of today. From Hand-block printed dresses to Ikat Sarees and Dupattas, Ek Taara is also venturing into home furnishing segment by designing Cushion covers and Table Linens for the modern homes.
A NIFT Fashion graduate and a Brand Management graduate from Italy, Priyanka Chugh founded Ek Taara with an objective to bring the hand printing traditions from the heart of Indian villages into a modern, sustainable fashion brand for the woman of today. Passionate about building her own brand, Priyanka relocated to Jaipur after gaining years of experience in the fashion industry of Mumbai and Italy. Working single-handedly right from the ideation to the delivery, Priyanka undertakes everything with positivity. A proud recipient of J.N. Tata scholarship and a freelance researcher with various design universities, Priyanka is also a Pranic and Crystal healer with a believer in achieving everything with meditation and humor!
