- Birla Mandir is also known as Lakshmi Narayan Temple & is one of the major tourist attractions of the city which is easily approachable as situated on the city’s prime JLN road.

The outside walls of Birla Mandir are decorated with figures from all religions including Socrates, Zarathustra, Christ, Buddha, and Confucius.

You can add one thing that the land on which Birla Mandir is built was ‘Tila – Hill of sand’ from Moti Doongri till JLN road.
On this small hill there were many trees and bushes.
