Over the years, The Jewellers Association Show of Jaipur, has acquired a prominent place in global jewellery and gemstone scenes. Since Jaipur is known for its vintage-inspired yet exquisite style of jewellery across the world, the Jewellers Association Show is taking the city’s gems and jewellery to newer heights.
This year around the different offerings, categorized jewellery display- the emerald pavilion dedicated to the gemstone, three dedicated lounges (jadau, diamond and emerald lounge) and a series of exciting events (awards night, cultural show, best booth awards) surrounding the mysterious gems, had a lot more than business, facts, and gemstones. JAS’19 not just offered an opportunity to have in-depth discussions with India´s best manufacturers and meet many new suppliers, but the 4 days of excitement, entertainment, and fun to the organizers, exhibitors, and visitors.
The additions by the organizing committee to the show, that elevated the standard of JAS’19 created a unique business environment at JECC, Sitapura. JAS’19 was covered live on Social Media with an edge of class and indulgence. The participation of popular bloggers brought in glamour to the show where a maximum number of booths was visited and featured by them. With an advantage of exhibiting their signature jewel pieces through special feature by bloggers, the exhibitors enjoyed special coverage during JAS’19.
The “Wandering Camera” of JAS’19 was a wonderful highlight of the show. It completely changed the way a Jewellery Show is covered. Talking to the Jewellers Association Committee members, asking quirky question from the visitors and celebrities of the show, Wandering Camera brought a cheerful wave of intrigue to the show.
The interesting talk shows with the connoisseurs, models, political figures, gemstone buyers and sellers and two seminars on Role of Digital and Social Media in Jewellery Business and Role of Cyber Security added an element of knowledge to the purpose of the show.
When Jaipur Beat is covering something and there’s no talk of food, that’s not possible. There’s the food of JAS’19, which caught our fancy- with the different menu, featuring cuisines from overseas like Mongolian vegetables, Thai curry to local flavors like dal baati, gatte, chakki, ker saangri ki subzi, maalpua, ghewar and butter milk for all 4 days, the lunch served at JAS’19 was another reason to love the show. We overheard a participant saying, “Amongst all international jewellery shows; be it Hongkong or UAE or India, JAS is the only show that serves such elaborate menu with such delicious cuisines, that too complimentary”. That’s what we call, a true Jaipuri hospitality!
To top it all, Jaipur Beat’s parent company Pathfynder is the name behind all the coverages of the show on its Social Media platforms. With everything interesting as well as enticing, no wonder, JAS’19 will be remembered as one of the most compelling gemstone and jewellery fairs that Jaipur has hosted.
