The Yellow House Global Bistro has a Robot named Ruby. Located in the basement of Silver Square Mall, near Raj Mandir Cinema, we visited the place on the opening day of the restaurant and to our surprise, the robot was walking all over the place. Ruby the robot is made in India by the students of Arya College, Jaipur using Japanese concept.
The robot is the first bot in Northern India serving food at this restaurant in Jaipur. The technology of magnetic strips has been used for the path of the robot to walk through the restaurant, with motion sensors. If anyone would come in between the pathway of the robot, it would seek you to leave its way and let it pass by saying “excuse me”, which was something engaging and worth the experience.
One will definitely take some time before finally picking up the menu card at first glance as the robot will astonish you. The Yellow House serves pure vegetarian food, the menu consists of Italian to South Asian and Indian main course as well.
The ambience of The Yellow House with Victorian furniture and traditional Rajasthani decor is a fusion of two diverse combinations, with another level supplemented by the robot. The restaurant gives you a comfy environment and also they are pet-friendly which means you can take your little friend along with you for a memorable meal.
It’s definitely a happy place to spend a mellow night with your family & friends.
