Bollywood is all set to fix you for this week end with two movies released on this friday: “Table no. 21” starring Rajeev Khandelwal, Paresh Rawal and Tena Desae and “Rajsthani Express” which a multi starrer Leander paes, Jimmy Shergill, Priyanshu Chatterjee, Sudhansu Pandey, Gulshan Grover, Achint Kaur, Sayali Bhagat, Pooja Bose. Leander Pear the Tennis champion is making her debut from this movie.
Story of Table No. 21 directed by Aditya Dutt, he has Ashiq Banaya Apne and Will you marry me? .The story of Table No. 21 revolves around the game “Tell the Truth” with Rajeev Kahndelwal in lead. The concept of the movie is based on the reality show “Sach ka Samna” which was hosted by Rajeev Khandelwal itself. But the movie has little twist with some flavor of thriller. Tena Desae and Rajeev Khandelwal belongs to a middle family, got thrilled when they won an exotic trip to Fiji, there they both get a chance to play “Tell the truth” game which is hosted by Paresh Rawal, who is acting negative after a long time and suddenly couple realized the game is not a just a game but a trap which soon becomes the game of survival. Table No. 21 is a perfect start to 2013 with some highs and quiet lows but neve boring. Storyline is completely different and falls in different hounor. Rajeev Kahndelwal and Tina Desae seem promising as a young couple though the acting experience of Paresh Rawal dominated both. The foot tapping title track is sung by Neeraj Shridhar & Jaspreet Jazz. Overall movie a worth spending money if one is looking for different taste.
Another movie is ‘Rajdhani Express’ directed by Ashok Kohli, the movie is not as fast as the name. Leander Peas is making his debut from this movie. It deals with a mentally fragile guy called Keshav (Leander Paes), at least this is how the character comes across, who is running away from a dreaded Delhi man Bhaijee (Kiran Kumar) and boards the train ‘Rajadhani Express’. But the star of the show is Mumbai Police Officer played by Jimmy Shergill. Jimmy shergill is always been appreciated by the critics for his beautiful acting skills that has dominated the acting of other personalities present altogether, but still the character given to him has not justified his skills. Priyanshu Chatterjee has again made a disaster with his accent. The story line is not so strong. The ace tennis player needs some dialogue delivery practice. Acting is not his cup of tea. He performs much better on the tennis court.
So, hook your weekends with these two Bollywood movies.
