The Festival of Empowerment – JAZBAA



What started as a movement to attain social empowerment through digital technology has become larger in dimension and has reached to INDIAN INNOVATION & ENTREPRENEURSHIP COMMUNITY. IIEC launched EMPOWERMENT WITH TECHNOLOGY ROADMAP 2020 to manifest youth and women empowerment and unleash agenda that works towards eradicating the problem of unemployment, encourage entrepreneurship and startups in Jaipur and Rajasthan. Under the umbrella Festival of empowerment aims to train, guide and motivate youth, especially Engineering students who are below the average and response of society remains of disapproval towards them.

Movement for 2020 was flagged off by Mr. Vimal Daga, renowned technology expert and educator Founder, IIEC today from GD BADAYA AUDITORIUM,  SANSKRITI COLLAGE  MAANSAROVAR. Joining them were Known personalities from Jaipur.

The youth of Jaipur and from across Rajasthan participated in the festivity of empowerment that not only educated, groomed and skilled them but also resolved crucial challenges they were facing in their way to becoming digital maestros. Youth participated in the event to become self-reliant and be part of a movement that launched pathbreaking technologies leading towards youth and women empowerment. Archana Jain, Ace dietitian and nutritionist from Jaipur conducted a special session on ” Importance of Healthy Lifestyle & diet ” in student life which was well received by students.

Last year IIEC had launched Jazbaa through which students reflected their passion towards doing exceptional work in launching digital projects on Women safety, Kids suffering from Autism, Eliminating hunger and poverty, helping blind people to lead a smooth life, containing incidents of thefts, improving agricultural yield, reducing traffic congestion from healthcare to environmental sustainability and many such pressing issues pose serious challenges and concerns before our society.


And the year 2020 will see the focus of  IIEC on tackling the serious issues of unemployment, self-employment generation,  tackling inadequate education opportunities, skills to ensure success, identifying chemical-laden eatables,  environmental issues, traffic congestion, helping handicaps with technology, making educational opportunities accessible and many more.

During the event, renowned Fashion & Social entrepreneur, Deepa Mathur, stated, “This festival of empowerment is a Nobel Initiative which works towards achieving its vision of “Making India, Future Ready” while inculcating entrepreneurial skills in students.

A ‘Spark’ to boost Jaipur’s Young Entrepreneurs


Entrepreneurial bug has bitten almost everybody around and is among the most talked about subjects in the country. However, it is not easy for everyone to become an entrepreneur and start their own business. You may have an amazing plan but  you need mentors and guidance from experts and people who are pursuing their passion. For the people of Jaipur the road to entrepreneurship is about to become a little easier. Keeping the requirements of young entrepreneurs in mind, ICCE has come up with a one day entrepreneurial event, Spark.

International Centre for Culture and Education (ICCE), the organizer of Spark, is an internet based educational platform that works with the goal to spread traditional Indian education in field of Entrepreneurship, Vedic Mathematics and Yogic science though their DIY certificate programs. One of their very important courses, Green Evolution Global Certification program in association with UN has earned enrollments from across the country. In order to bring their cause to a larger group of young entrepreneurs ICCE is organizing Spark, which will be monumental in helping people turn their entrepreneurial vision into reality.

Spark will take place at G.P. Birla auditorium, Jaipur on 12th November 2016. The event has been created with the idea to support young entrepreneurs and help them to connect with the right mentors, who can help them execute their ideas. This platform will see speakers from Ted X addressing the participants along with speakers from different industries like education, biochemicals and international business. People participating in the event will get to speak to mentors like Mohsin Memon, managing director of Memcorp Immersive learning, Paresh Gupta, CEO My Career Architect & Neos Angels Network, Aardra Chandra Mouli, Founder & Director – Aeka Biochemicals Pvt. Ltd. , Archana Surana, Founder and director, Arch Academy and  Jacob Shetty, Director – International Centre for Culture & Education (ICCE).

With mentors like these, Spark is sure to create a new beginning in the world of entrepreneurship.

Today, 8th March 2013 is International woman’s Day, a day to celebrate the life of a woman, her hardships and her inner strength. Though everyday is her day but still this special day is officially declared to praise, admire and encourage her deeds, sacrifices and efforts. Woman’s Day is the day to honor and cherish the womanhood and her accolades. She is the guiding force and is responsible for making us who we are. Leela Bordia 

She is one of India’s foremost woman entrepreneurs who founded Neerja International in 1978 with an objective of doing well for Blue Pottery Craftsman.

Begun with four craftsmen, Neerja now runs several blue pottery units that employ more than 500 craftsmen, thus also contributing towards social change through its work. Mrs. Bordia has received numerous awards both at home and abroad, and has held distinguished positions including the Executive of the Rajasthan Chamber of Commerce and the Federation of Handicrafts Association.


Deepak Kalra

There are very few people who expand their fringes to conquer the pain of other people, and Deepak Kalra is one of them. Mrs Deepak Kalra is a truly an inspiring lady who has founded ‘Umang’ – Rajasthan’s first NGO for children with cerebral palsy, autism, mental challenges and multiple disabilities. Children at Umang are provided with a nurturing environment and trained professionals help them learn and grow. These children create beautiful pieces of artwork that can be bought as well, thus helping children at Umang become self-reliant.
